I have sat on these recordings for over a decade.
Waiting for the right time to release them. Most of these little sonic crustaceans, throbs and therapeutic meditations on darkness were originally recorded in Warriewood NSW in 2007.

They were unpolished, re-sequenced and reimagined (shredding away their original contexts) at the Tighes Hill Sound Pit in May 2020 during ‘iso’. The working title for this collection was originally “Little Species” but instead I have chosen the wordy title from a narrative I wrote in the early 2000’s. I think I am paraphrasing someone, but I can’t remember who.

Some of the pieces have popped up as loops in ACRA live performances over the last decade.
